Day 1
DEPART USA.
Depart this evening on your overnight
flight to Manaus.
Day 2
ARRIVE MANAUS, BRAZIL.
On arrival, you are met and transferred
to your hotel. There is free time to
explore this bustling city that saw its
heyday during the rubber boom era of the
early 1900s.
Day 3
MANAUS / AMAZON JUNGLE.
Transfer from your hotel to the pier
where you will travel by boat to either
the treetop Ariau Jungle Towers or the
Amazon Ecopark. This afternoon, board a
dugout canoe and visit the family home
of one of Brazil's native tribes. (B,L,D)
Day 4
AMAZON JUNGLE. Take treks into
the jungle and enjoy canoe rides to
learn more about the local flora and
fauna and meet the natives in their
villages. You will even have the
opportunity to fish for piranha. Some of
the wildlife you may see includes
monkeys, alligators, the rare river
dolphin, and hundreds of species of
colorful birds. (B,L,D)
Day 5
AMAZON JUNGLE / MANAUS / RIO DE JANEIRO.
A free morning to explore the Amazon at
your leisure. Return to Manaus with a
transfer to the airport for your flight
to exciting Rio de Janeiro. (B)
Day 6 RIO
DE JANEIRO.
Travel through the Tijuca Forest to the
top of Corcovado
(Hunchback) Mountain. Admire the
1,400-ton granite statue of Christ the
Redeemer. Your afternoon is at leisure.
This evening enjoy a BBQ dinner and a
festive samba show. (B,D)
Day 7 RIO
DE JANEIRO.
Highlights of your morning tour include
the Central Bank of Brazil and the
Museum of Art. Conclude your tour with a
cable car
ride to the summit of
Sugar Loaf Mountain with spectacular
views of the city. Your afternoon and
evening are free. (B)
Day 8 RIO
DE JANERIO / IGUASSU FALLS.
Fly to
Iguassu Falls; you are transferred to
your hotel. This afternoon take a
walking tour of this magnificent
panorama of waterfalls on the Brazilian
side. The numerous rainbows, clouds of
spray, incessant roar and surrounding
tropical growth makes this one of
nature's wonders. (B)
Day 9
IGUASSU FALLS / BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA.
A free morning before traveling to view
the Argentine side of the Falls. Then
head to the airport and fly to Buenos
Aires. On arrival, you will be
transferred to your hotel. The balance
of the day is at leisure in the city
known as the “Paris of South America.”

BUENOS AIRES.
Sightseeing takes you first to the Plaza
de Mayo – May Square. See Casa Rosada,
visit the Metropolitan
Cathedral, and view San
Telmo, Teatro Colon, Avenida 9 de Julio,
Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo Park. This
evening, enjoy Argentina's famous beef
and delicious wines, watch a spectacular
presentation of the sensuous Tango and listen to
unforgettable Pampas and Andean music. (B,D)
Day 11
BUENOS AIRES.
A free day with plenty to do. Your local
host will have many suggestions. (B)
Day 12
BUENOS AIRES / BARILOCHE.
On to charming Bariloche. Spend the
afternoon strolling through this
picturesque town. See the city hall and
clock tower in Municipality Square and
the many chocolate factories. Your
evening is free. (B)
Day 13
BARILOCHE. Sightseeing takes you
along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi.
Stop at the Chapel San Eduardo on the
Llao Llao Peninsula. Proceed around
Moreno Lake and arrive at Lopez Bay with
6,000-ft high Cerro Lopez in the
background. End the tour with a
chairlift ride to a lookout point at
Cerro Campanaro. The rest of the day is

Day 14
BARILOCHE / PUERTO VARAS, CHILE.
Board a catamaran for the cruise
across Lago Nahuel to Puerto Blest. Stop
at Puella, then travel through pristine
wilderness adorned by emerald lakes,
pine forests, and glaciated rugged
peaks. Cameras ready as imposing Osorno
Volcano comes into view. End your day in
Puerto Varas. (B)

Day 15
PUERTO VARAS / PUERTO MONTT / SANTIAGO.
After a morning tour of the seaport of
Puerto Montt, transfer to the airport
for the flight to Santiago. On arrival
you are transferred to your hotel in

Day 16
SANTIAGO.
Today a cosmopolitan metropolis,
Santiago still maintains much of it’s
historic charm. Sightseeing of Chile’s
capital city begins at the civic center
and the La Moneda Palace, home to many
presidents. You will also see Plaza de
Armas and the Cathedral Metropolitana.
End your tour at the colorful Central
Market. The rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 17
VALPARAISO & VIÑA DEL MAR EXCURSION.
Begin the day with a drive to the
beautiful coastal region west of
Santiago. Ride through Chile’s wine
country to the historic port of Valparaiso and continue along
the coast to Viña
del Mar.
This chic seaside resort with its palm
tree-lined avenues and lovely villas
truly deserves the name "Pearl of the
Pacific." Return to Santiago later this
afternoon where the balance of the day
is free. (B)

SANTIAGO / HOMEBOUND FLIGHT.
A free day before your evening transfer
to the airport and your overnight flight
home. (B)

Take time to acclimate to the
