Day 1
ARRIVE RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL.
On arrival, you are transferred to your
hotel. Your local host will provide
information on the week’s activities.
Day 2 RIO
DE JANEIRO.
Today you have a choice of sightseeing
options. (B)
Sugarloaf:
This tour takes you past Copacabana and
Ipanema, two of the world’s most famous
beaches. Then take a cable car
ride to the summit of Sugar
Loaf Mountain. Return to the hotel via
Flamingo Park and the downtown area.

Corcovado:
Start with a drive through the Barra
District. Then travel to the top of
Corcovado Mountain to
admire the 122-ft giant statue of Christ
the Redeemer with his arms outstretched
and the panoramic view of Rio. Next,
pass 200,000 seat Maracana Stadium, the
world’s largest, and the New Cathedral,
an astonishing building of modern
architecture.
Days 3-5
RIO DE JANEIRO.
Three free days in exciting Rio! Your
local host will have an array of
optional trips to choose from. On one of
your evenings enjoy an included
performance at the renown Scala
Rio Samba show, where dazzling
colors and costumes are the norm.
