Day 1 BOARD YOUR
OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.

ARRIVE IN MADRID, SPAIN.
You will be met and transferred to your
hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure
to relax or begin exploring on your own.
Day 3
MADRID.
The capital of Spain since 1561, Madrid
is a modern and dynamic city with a rich
history. There is much to see and do
here, from the fabulous museums housing
works by Goya, Picasso, El Greco and
more, to the abundance of parks, to fine
architecture, attractive squares, great
restaurants, and a variety of shops.
Enjoy a morning city tour including
views of Gran Via and Castellana
Avenues; grand squares: Plaza de Espana,
de Oriente, Mayor, Puerta del Sol,
Atocha, Neptuno, Cibeles, Puerta de
Alcala, Colon and Plaza de Castilla; the
historic quarters of Austrias, the
Borbouns and Salamanca, the famous del
Oeste, Casa de Campo and Retiro Parks;
the commercial and financial areas, the
University Campus, the Bull Ring and the
Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of the
famous Real Madrid football team. At
Colon Square, your tour ends. You can
continue exploring the city on your own,
shop, or relax in the splendid Spanish

A full free day to discover Madrid’s
treasures at your own pace or join one
of the optional excursions available.

MADRID / GRANADA.
This morning, transfer (on own) to
Madrid’s train station for the ride to
Granada. Upon arrival, transfer (on own)
to your hotel. The rest of the day is at
leisure. (B)
Day 6
GRANADA.
Beautiful Granada is set at the foot of
the Sierra Nevada. With quaint narrow
streets, delightful gardens, and
stunning architecture, it is a popular
retreat for visitors from around the
world. The focal point here is Alhambra.
This Arabian palace was built over
several centuries, and contains palaces,
grand halls, and gardens. See the
highlights of Granada on a morning city
sightseeing tour. Visit the Royal Palace, gardens of the Generalife
and Carlos V's Palace,
a renaissance style jewel within the
Alhambra. The balance of the day is at
leisure. (B)
Day 7
GRANDA / SEVILLE.
This morning, transfer (on own) to the
train station to catch your train to
Seville. Upon arrival, transfer (on own)
to your hotel, where the rest of the day
is at leisure. (B)
Day 8
SEVILLE.
Situated alongside the Guadalquivir
River, Seville is a wonderful tourist
city. There is pedestrianized areas and
many of the city’s main attractions are
in comfortable walking distance of each
other. Stroll along the winding streets,
mix with the locals at the Plaza de
España, climb to the top of the La
Giralda bell tower, or relax in a quaint
café, there’s something for everyone in
this delightful city. Today’s morning
tour of Seville includes the Gothic cathedral, the Santa
Cruz quarter and the Royal Alcazar.
After your tour, the remainder of the
day is at leisure. (B)

SEVILLE.
A day at leisure. You may want to shop,
write your last minute postcards,
explore on your own or join an optional
excursion. (B)
