FLIGHT.
Day 2,
Mon. ARRIVE IN CAIRO, EGYPT.
You will be met and privately
transferred to your hotel.
Day 3,
Tue. CAIRO.
Sightseeing today begins with one of the
seven wonders of the ancient world, the
great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
Then visit Memphis and Sakkara. (B,L)
Day 4,
Wed. CAIRO.
Begin the day with a tour of the
Egyptian Museum. Then on to the Coptic
Quarter, the oldest part of the city.
You will see the Mohamed Ali mosque,
Khan el Khalili bazaar and more. (B)
Day 5,
Thu. CAIRO / ALEXANDRIA.
Drive to Alexandria and see Pompey’s
massive red granite pillar, the
decorated catacombs, and Qaitbey Fort.
This afternoon, visit the impressive
Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Your evening is
free. (B)
Day 6,
Fri. ALEXANDRIA / LUXOR.
Visit the National Museum. Then back to
Cairo to catch your flight to Luxor. (B)
Day 7, Sat. LUXOR / NILE CRUISE. Board
your ship and enjoy lunch. Then tour the
stunning monuments of Luxor and Karnak.

Day 8 Sun.
NILE CRUISE.
See the Valley of Kings, Valley of
Queens and the Temple of Queen
Hatshepsut. This afternoon, start
cruising along the Nile. (B,L,D)
Day 9,
Mon. NILE CRUISE.
Take a horse drawn cart through Edfu to
the Temple of Horus. Next, dock at Kom
Ombo, with its bluff top temple. (B,L,D)
Day 10,
Tue. NILE CRUISE / ASWAN.
Arrive in Aswan this morning and see the
Old Dam and the gigantic High Dam. Then
see the isle of Agilka, the Temple of
Isis and the granite quarries. (B)
Day 11,
Wed. ASWAN.
A free morning. Perhaps take the
optional excursion to Abu Simbel
(weather permitting, $239 per person,
must be pre-booked with TRAVEL 360). Then,
board a felucca and see the “nilometer,”
Kitchener’s botantical gardens, and the
Aga Khan Mausoleum. (B)
Day 12,
Thu. ASWAN / CAIRO.
Fly back to Cairo with the afternoon
