Day 1 BOARD YOUR
OVERNIGHT TRANSPACIFIC FLIGHT.
Day 2
ARRIVE TOKYO, JAPAN.
Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival, you will
be met and transferred by coach to your
hotel. The balance of the day is free.
Day 3
TOKYO.
Your morning tour shows the highlights
of this bustling and colorful
metropolis. See the Tokyo Tower, the
Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon
Temple, the Nakamise Arcade where the
locals prefer to shop, and the Tasaki
Pearl Gallery. The rest of the day is
free for independent activities. (B)
Day 4
TOKYO.
A full day to explore as you wish. Visit
a traditional Japanese garden, sample
sushi and teriyaki, and shop for the
latest in electronic goods. There is an
array of optional outings you can
purchase from TRAVEL 360 before your
vacation including a Kamakura walking
tour, a day trip via bullet train to
Hakone and Mt. Fuji and a full day
outing to Nikko, a UNESCO World Heritage
site (limited departures, Apr-Nov only).

Day 5
TOKYO / KYOTO.
This morning, transfer on your own to
the train station for the trip by bullet
train to Kyoto. On arrival, you will be
met and take a short walk to your hotel
(luggage will be delivered). The rest of
the day is free. (B)
Day 6
KYOTO.
Kyoto is a museum of UNESCO World
Heritage sites. On your morning tour see
many of these splendid structures,
including Kinkaku-ji Temple, the
Imperial Palace, and Nijo Castle. Other
sites include the Handicraft Center and
the Golden Pavillion. Your afternoon is
free. You may want to join the optional
outing to the ancient capital of Nara.

Day 7
KYOTO.
A full free day to enjoy the many
temples, shrines, palaces, pagodas and
shops at your own pace. (B)
Day 8
DEPART KYOTO.
Transfer by shuttle bus to Kansai
(Osaka) Airport for your return flight.
You arrive back in the USA the same day.

On day 5 instead
of taking the bullet train
directly to Kyoto, you have the
opportunity to spend one night
in the picture postcard area of
Hakone and Mt. Fuji. Take the
train to Hakone where you will
be met by a local host.
Sightseeing includes Mt. Fuji’s
fifth station, a cruise on Lake
Ashi, and a ride up Mt.
Komagatake. You’ll spend one
night at the first class Hakone
Hotel Kowakien, renowned for its
hot springs. On day 6, you will
board the bullet train and
continue on to Kyoto.
